Mist filter

Oil mist separators are specialized filtration devices designed to remove oil particles and aerosols from air. The filters capture oil and water droplets and cause them to coalesce into larger droplets that can be drained away.

The oil mist separators must be inspected every 2,000 hours. When insufficient air flows through, the micron filter element is contaminated, replace immediately. Under good conditions in a clean enviroment the mist filter lasts 8,000 hours. In high demanding applications the filter element might last 2,000 ~ 4,000 hours. Since the filters are inexpensive when in doubt change frequently.
